Character Spotlight: Mikala

Mikala Thompson is your typical southern belle. She spends her time reading, sewing, and dreaming of the perfect life.  Mostly her perfect life is away from home. Mr. Thompson is a merchant who travels to distant lands and brings back anything Mikala could desire. Without having any sons, Mr. Thompson fills his daughter's head with running his business when he's gone. Of course, Mrs. Thompson does not agree and spends her time trying to find Mikala a suitable husband. Mikala is smart, which can make her often coy attitude dangerous for the men who pursue her hand. A husband is not exciting, and therefore is on the button of Mikala's to-do list.

Love hurts for Sunday October 29

Not cheating, find out my phone left this as a draft, so here's what you missed. Sometimes you just have to start over. Got some pictures of my model for the character Caden. Looking at a panel, it just looked bad. His legs were too short, he looked young as hell. With reference pics, i erased his whole damn body and started over. Best choice. Some times it's best not to fall in love. (luckily i was just in love with the time lost.) Here are some before and after shots...still have to draw those hands. Ha

Day 1, The Big Kick Off

Had a bit of trouble uploading at Wordpress, so Blogger it is!

Here's the information for future updates, the plan for the next year or so, and what to expect from the blog. Will be working to get these up a little early, since I did have problems last night.
