I snuck in a little work on Peira today. Jon and I have been talking some about some up-coming changes. I will keep you all posted. Until then, here are some cleaned up panels from page 5.
An hour at a time makes for slow build, but the results are pleasing. Here's a few progress shots. I have a friend who will be looking at my software to see if he can fix my scanner problem. (When it comes to advanced technology, I am the dumbs.) There will be loss of scans when that is fixed..
looks like its three in a row. Got a little bit of brush work done, and finished up the tech. not sure when I'll be able to get more done, probably on Sunday. enjoy!
Got finished with my homework a little early last night and utilized my break. (The training and job are from home) this morning after I finished my work, I got more done. Since my work is finished, I will even be able to do more tonight. Here is a progress shot.
I am officially one quarter of the way through my training for my second job. once I start that job, my time should free up a bit. I got out about an hour early last night, so I did the panel borders for pages 1-5. this morning I got up and did the technical and inking for panel one. sorry for the terrible capitalization, I am speaking this into my phone. It doesn't seem to like grammar.
I am going to try and stay up a little bit later each night, and start to get some of the inking I've done for the pages I have finished.
On everything except drawing, it seems. While o haven't managed to touch a single page, i have doodled on a few sketch cards. Unfinished, but here are the initial sketches.
My phone died by the end of the night, so here's a little glimpse at page 10. I think I will be able to finish this page tonight. Page eleven is the last page in the first quarter of this issue. Very exciting.
didn't get much done on Wednesday, but here's what I did last night. it looks like I should be able to finish this page up this weekend, and be moving on the page 10.
Tonight I got through page seven. Chugging right along. Back with page eight tomorrow.
This one took a little longer than expected, and I expect another hard time on clean ups. 3 point perspective was being difficult. But at least i got to play with my toys.
Got a little done here and there, but here's finished panel two. Hope no one gets offended by a pantaloon shot...
Reworked most of page five. Well be added the perspective next and sketching in the background.
Panel five is finished, ergo, page four is complete. Like I said, I'll probably wait another page or two to get this bad boy scanned. Until next time!

Some small changes, mostly starting to tighten up panel five, last one for page four.

For those of you not privy to my private life, thanks for being so patient! When I'm able to announce why I've been having all the delays you'll know. Here's a little something from last night. I meant to put it up, but my phone had to be reset for the repairs and i just got blogger back up.
It's been a crazy week. This panels roughs are almost there, but i need to make that hand/gun bigger. Sometimes it's super helpful just to step back.see you all later on the week

Had to work on a poster tonight, so i didn't get a ton finished, but i did adjust some anatomy so it will be faster to finish up the pencils. Till tomorrow.
Panel 2, just needs a little clean up, and the hand may need to be a tad larger. Otherwise finished.
Page three is officially finished!! I'm really excited, especially with the amount of time it took to do everything. I'm regretting this wallpaper and hardwood floor decision, but I know it's worth it in the end. It's the big difference between me as an artist now and me as an artist just a few years ago. Thanks for being patient with me, and I'll be posting progress from page four starting tomorrow.
Wound up working on a poster most of tonight. I did extend the length of the room in the last panel and just have to finish with the wallpaper and floor. I hated to do it but it's a big difference. There's s darker line where the corner used to be for reference. More progress tomorrow.
Here is the progress on the inked cover. Just have to finish the title and the starry sky. I'm letting the library dry before I throw the liquid frisket on (maybe in the morning before I go to work). More images tomorrow night.
As I started to type the subject, I realized it wasn't Wednesday anymore. Man, time flies. Did some inking on that cover. Here's the pic. I may do some drawing on that panel, but I intend to have this cover and page three done--impending doom and schedule interruptions notwithstanding....
Little people take a long time to draw...another night out two should do it. I will also need to go back and make a correction on panel five to adjust a depth issue. Enjoy. More tomorrow.
